I really resonated with where you said "teaching us to listen to His voice rather than living on autopilot." "Autopilot" is such an accurate word for how I use to live, prior to making changes. Excited to read what you share over the coming weeks!

Autopilot is tempting because it seems to save so much energy in the moment. Thank you for coming along for the ride!

Excited to read this. My friend and I have both withdrawn from social media completely despite our best efforts to use it for good. We’ve found it feels *almost fruitless. Of course for some there’s grace, for me, I’m not sure! I’m excited to read, thanks for sharing.

I’m with you on those feelings about social media. I’m hesitant to make blanket prescriptions about things that Scripture does not directly address, but I do think most who are truly seeking to discern God’s will will find themselves limiting its place in their lives.

I just had a conversation about marketing our church with a friend. So much about church marketing has so often felt greasy and weird to me. I'm looking forward to putting more of a why to these gut feelings!

Yes, I struggle with the same feelings about marketing in general! Listening to my intuition/the Holy Spirit in that unease has taught me a lot.

Great post. I read most of the book and am interested in your conclusions. I know a few Christian Influencers. A question they’d be interested in having answered is “How can a disciple be faithful as an influencer?” Looking forward to reading your thoughts.

I imagine this whole series will contribute something toward answering that question, but it is a big one! Thanks for following along.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. As a marketer myself who has spent the last decade in the for-profit space and who has recently transitioned to the non-profit space, I’m curious about where you’ll take these next writings and their implications for the work you and I both do. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for following along, Carter! My role is unique in that the publisher I work for is a nonprofit, and yet publishing is still a business and one of our goals is to not lose money. It’s a fascinating dynamic for sure.
